YAYS!

So now my son's at school fulltime I'm gettin my arse in gear and sorting my own life out, whoos! I always wanted to go back into education, but was never sure what to study. I knew I didn't want to do art, been there done that, didn't bother with the tshirt, I doubt I could cut it in the art industry anyway, I hate rushing my pieces (in case you hadnt noticed lol) I'm much happier working to my own tune in my own time anyway. So yeh, I was stumped, I thought about going into design instead, but had similar feelings about that. I thought about trying to study history somehow, from an archeological point of view (yeah, I'm a proper geek, love Time Team, ha ha!!), but seeing as I dropped history at GCSE I'd have had to do the A lvl...So after scrolling and scrolling thru various different local uni courses I came across games tech, I've always kinda fancied myself working in the gaming industry, but can I get my head around the code? that's the question, so I'm enrolling for multimedia computing (which shares the same 1st yr as games tech) I have enough experience with pcs and digital graphics to go straight onto the degree, and if I cope with the logic and sets ok, I should be flying I have to wonder tho, if I spend half my life telling ~listee "it's just a game!!" could I really live with myself if I devoted my life to those same games? ha ha!! Well anyway, all the prospective careers sound interesting, so I don't have to make games heh heh!!
