New Years Eve, 2 of my friends and I were hired as entertainers doing poi for the Kasbah Night club in Coventry [link] We were suposed to be doing fire poi outside to keep the ppl waiting in the queue amused, but it was a last minute thing and all the insurance companies were closed for the holidays so we just used glow poi instead (after some mad phoning around the country and last minute dash up to Nottingham to get them, lol) the glow poi went down a storm, but we were so disappointed at not being able to play with fire we decided to club together and go semi-professional with the idea, with the insurance being a tad expensive for a few 1 off nights and the amount of interest we've had previously, it made sense. Soon we will have a website up and running along with a *sigh* myspace page, and this is our logo! ta daa! which i threw together in photoshop in an hr or so last night. Woo! It will have txt across it when we confirm our name, but we're hoping for something like FireFly.
